Theories of Emancipation
The main purpose
of education was:
Transmit values and prepare the human being to
commit to those values.
Education
must develop to the maximum potential of the individual because the student is
a person of unfinished nature.
Will and
affectivity are qualities of the person that are above intelligence.
The teacher
must show the values and be part of the commitment.
The
personal school has a community character. The school must be open to society;
it is a critical and active school (democratic participation).
